Great Fountain Fast Food is a hidden gem in Scarborough with a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes that offer fresh ingredients, generous portions and exceptional value. The service is friendly, efficient and helpful. I got the T39, garlic fried chicken on fried rice, which is the most popular dish. This item also comes with tea and soup which is an amazing value. Downtown no one would blink if this dish was 15 so it's a steal at 10.60. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned; it had crispy skin yet the meat was still juicy and tender. I also liked the black pepper sauce which came with it. The fried rice was fresh and had a pleasant texture and umami egg flavour. The rice portion was extremely generous and could easily feed two people. I enjoyed the pork bone soup, especially the broth and tender pork pieces. I just wish it had a bit more veggies and meat in the soup. But that’s just nitpicking, I consider the soup a bonus which adds to the value. I thought the milk tea was exceptional, as it was creamy yet still possessing a kick and not too light. I got it less sweet and I still loved every bit of it. I legit would just come back for the tea alone. Same for the iced lemon tea which is phenomenal as well. It has a crisp refreshing citrus flavour and real lemon pulp. The sweetness level is perfect. I would love it if it came in a bigger size, for which I would be willing to pay an extra 1 or more. In terms of the food court area, there is abundant seating and bathrooms nearby. It's slightly disappointing that there’s no public wifi in the area. I would definitely visit Great Fountain again to try their other dishes and beverages. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in search of bang-for-your-buck Chinese restaurants in Scarborough.

Fantastic portions- most dishes come with a drink and soup. Such a great deal. Our family favourites are T40A chicken steak and pork on rice, T46 Fried noodle with beef, F38 XO Turnip Cake and their seasonal Salted Yolk Pumpkin. We usually order ahead using their online site or you can call them directly- food is ready on arrival!

I want to thank Anna and her lovely family for their best HK food. I found Great Fountain Fast Food from my IG feed. We visited Markham from NJ and my family and I were craving the best food. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken streak on rice and the pork chop with beef sauce on rice. The prices were outstanding. I didn’t get the first bite in and my wife and my father in law said it was the best food they tasted. They are tough critics. I want to thank Anna and her family for continue to keep these food alive. We don’t have these good tasting food where we live and since people are retiring I hope that the legacy will continue till the next time we come back to visit again. There are so many great choices to choose from the largest selections of great photos to.choose from all of them are great. Almost forgot the milk tea is the bomb. Must have with your rice. The most authentic milk tea ever.

Tucked away in what feels like an almost abandoned plaza mall is a hidden gem—a food court serving inexpensive yet excellent Chinese cuisine. Inside, you’ll find several food stalls that are quite similar, but Great Fountain stands out the most to me. With what seems like a million items on the menu, T39 is my personal favorite and likely what put this place on the map for classic Scarborough eats. It’s a simple yet delicious dish: Garlic Fried Chicken on Fried Rice, topped with a Black Pepper Sauce, and served with a side of bone soup and iced lemon tea. If you’re not in the mood for chicken, I’d recommend T44 (Braised Pork Belly)—or, if you’re extra hungry, you could get both. 10/10 would recommend.

My family was very impressed with the food and value here. We ordered 4 dishes (that each came with soup drink) and the grand total including tax was only 56.12 for ALL of the food that you see pictured below! What made us choose this place is because we saw lots of videos that Anna posted online about her family's restaurant. The food looked so good in all her videos so we knew we had to check it out for ourselves. My family absolutely loved the milk tea. It's top notch -- so rich and flavorful. I can't wait to order it again! We got it both hot and cold and really can't decide which one is better. My son also enjoyed the lemon ice tea a lot. Our favourite dish was the honey garlic fish with cutlet pork chop on fried rice. It was delicious and filling. The takeout box was super heavy -- filled to the top with yumminess! I highly recommend this place. Anna herself was there at the counter being helpful and friendly. We placed our order online and it was easy to do. My family will definitely come back to this restaurant because there are over 200 dishes -- so lots more for us to try!

We went there because I saw the stories on social media. We're going to go back because the food was delicious, reasonably priced and plentiful. The service was also friendly and professional . Our orders were salt and pepper squid and pork chop on steamed rice, fried chicken and onion gravy on rice, beef brisket and chicken steak curry on rice and salted egg radish cakes for appetizer. The three meals all came with soup and drinks. I paid with a credit card so there was a 3% extra charge, but the total bill was still only about 56. Very reasonable.

I ordered a fired fish and fried squid with fired rice combo for 16.24 today. I called it combo because it is with soup and a drink for free. You can order hong kong style milk tea, lemon tea and other different drinks. There are tons of options in the menu as you can see. It was a very satisfying meal and the quality is good. Foreigner if you looking for Hong Kong style foods, this is it!!!

It's hard to believe that this place is still in business! The food is incredibly delicious, and the prices are economical, especially in this day&age. It truly is the hidden gem of North Scarberia. I really appreciate that the shop has pictures of every menu item, so I know exactly what I'm ordering. The Hong Kong iced milk tea is rich, bold and not too sweet. The garlic fried chicken is super juicy and crispy, accompanied by a rich, dark umami sauce. The braised pork belly melts in your mouth with every bite. My favorite dish is the shrimp scrambled eggs. They are creamy and loaded with large shrimp. I can tell that the chef is well-prepared, as the service is impressively fast from the moment I place my order to when I receive my food. Everything is crafted with care, and I take my hat off to the chef!
